With so many applicants, it is truly a much more time consuming and complex, if not impossible, task to filter the so-called chaff from the wheat.

Complicating the effort for everyone, there are now an enormous number of businesses who focus on helping job applicants in their efforts. This adds a level of stress to people seeking work, as they decide whether using a service gives them an advantage or not. If they elect to engage the assistance of such professionals, they must then find a way to select one over the others.

People seeking employment, no matter the type of job, have to find a way to negotiate the electronic application process. The temptation to use a professional service grows as the time they spend looking for employment increases. Unfortunately, there is no real evidence that demonstrates greeter success by using such a service, nor any assistance in deciding which will help one the most.

This filtering system, with human resources companies screening applicants makes the endeavor all the harder, as format gains over substance for relevance.
