Remember discovering beer and Mexican food when we were in college. College is undoubtedly the time to just go out and enjoy ourself. It's our cultural coming out period.
A few years earlier our small town high school buddies may have kept us in a rut from. There are lots of other priorities other than food while we're in high school. Perhaps we're too engrossed with the other gender.
Meanwhile, in high school there are lots of other concerns other than food. Just like girls, for instance. If you're fortunate, maybe you're girlfriend loved authentic Mexican food. Hopefully, she exposed you to the real deal.
Looking back, the degrees we earn are often worthless. However, the relationships that we create are more lasting. Few seem to get jobs based upon their degrees. The general education is valuable, but not worth getting into fifty-thousand dollars in debt.
Our very first genuine Mexican food experience is one we'll never forget. We were introduced there by individuals close to our heart. Perhaps we just really wanted cheap booze. Men are not only motivated alcohol alone. Girls influence our decisions too.
Although there will come a day when we are too old for ultimate. Mexican food will always remain a passion. There's nothing else that fulfills that craving like the cuisine from an authentic Mexican restaurant.
As time passes old fraternity brothers fade into the past. At one time that thought alone seemed un-thinkable. For a very short time we were all so close. We all shared common goals and single-mindedness. But, all that has passed and a few things remain.
Hopefully, they will take their kids to experience authentic Mexican food long before college. The whole cycle keeps going round in circles. It's our role to bring diversity of culture to our families.
